Meet Our Founder
Elena Rossi's journey began during a sabbatical in the Mediterranean, where she discovered small family farms producing exceptional olive oil using centuries-old techniques.
Inspired by their dedication to quality and tradition, Elena founded Terra Verde in 2018 with a mission to bring these artisanal oils to a wider audience while supporting the farmers who produce them.
With a background in sustainable agriculture and a passion for preserving culinary traditions, Elena personally selects each farm we partner with, ensuring that every bottle of Terra Verde olive oil meets our exacting standards.
Our Process
Harvesting
Olives are hand-picked at the perfect moment of ripeness to ensure optimal flavor.
Cold Pressing
Within hours of harvest, olives are cold-pressed to preserve their natural flavors and nutrients.
Bottling
Our olive oil is bottled in dark glass to protect it from light and preserve its quality.
